Summary
A boy comes home to find his parents missing and a strange note. From there he is sent on a journey across London and eventually to Paris, aboard a floating circus, he discovers he has a skill, he can talk to cats. He is trying to find his parents through clues and return the lions on board the circus back to their true home while avoiding capture from his parent's kidnapper who is hunting him down.
This book was pretty good, it was an exciting adventure story and I liked the mystery. It is set slightly in the future, there is lots of pollution in the air but I wouldn't classify this as a futuristic novel. I liked the story and while the start was a little slow, it got better as you read on, the plot thickened and the suspense built up so overall, I enjoyed this book.
