The Walls Around Us
Nova Ren Suma
Summary
This book jumps forward and backwards in it's timeline, telling the slightly creepy story from 2 points of view. Some of the chapters are years apart but the narrators are linked by Ori, a ballet dancer. As you read the book, you discover what really happened that night and who was the one truly responsible.
This book was was exciting, as you never really knew what happened until the last chapter. I liked how the author managed to make you feel sympathy for the people in jail, even though they were all (except one...) in the high security prison for good reason. It is the type of book that leaves you thinking for a while afterwards, trying to figure out the plot and how everything worked out. I enjoyed the writing, as the author has a way of wording things in an eerie manner, perfect for the nature of the book.
I would rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars.
